Although pregnancy is considered to be one of the most beautiful phases in a woman’s life, there are times when an expectant mother can go through depressive stages. Depression during pregnancy can be caused by a variety of triggering factors, the most common of them being the hormonal changes that are taking place at the respective time. Morning sickness that is experienced during the first trimester plays a very important role in triggering depression during early pregnancy. Light humor and comedy have a very positive effect on a person’s state of mind  and therefore these movie genres  would be very good options for a new mother. Chalking out plans for what you will do when your baby arrives is another way of keeping yourself occupied and preparing yourself for all the joy that is about to enter your life. After a pregnancy, a major portion of the depression that a woman feels is because of the tiredness that is caused by the nine months of being extra careful in all that she undertakes to do. The physical exhaustion caused by childbirth is also a root cause of depression after pregnancy. Post pregnancy depression, however, takes care of itself because the mother is soon occupied with nursing her baby and experiencing all the wonders that childbirth can offer.
