The mother’s skin also sees a lot of change in elasticity and other texture changes. Moles are another big noticeable development during pregnancy. Moles in pregnancy tend to change if you already have them. Moles tend to increase during pregnancy. Moles also tend to develop into bigger moles and new moles are formed during pregnancies due to change in hormonal profiles. The actual reason for moles growing due to an increased hormonal state is still not known. Seeing strange tissue growth on your skin may make you feel like you have skin cancer but it is normal to get moles during your pregnancy. You can get the tissue tested if you feel better. You can see a skin specialist or a dermatologist if you like. Pregnancy hormones can affect your skin too. You can develop acne, darkened skin patches along with darkened or increased moles. Darkened skin patches occur around nipples, labia and areolas. Doctors tell you all these changes will reverse themselves once the baby is born but that may not always happen. You could also develop discolored skin patches on your face called pregnancy masks. All these physical changes can affect your confidence and you should remember that it happens to every woman, in some fashion or the other.

Excess hormones can have a big effect on your body and you may not like most of it but you have to remember that it is largely temporary. You can get skin creams with natural ingredients to reduce the damaging effect but you cannot escape it.
