Gestational hypertension

Those who develop hypertension right at the end of their pregnancy are known to have gestational hypertension. There are no symptoms of this kind of high blood pressure.

Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension or PIH

This is also known as Preeclampsia or Toxemia, and can cause serious problems for the baby and the mother if it isn’t treated quickly. This condition develops after the twentieth week of pregnancy and can also lead to changes in the blood, protein in the urine and other problems.

Gestational hypertension

Bed rest is advisable and you might need to take off from work to be at home.
