Pregnancy Symptoms At 2 Weeks

A pregnancy is one of the most beautiful natural processes and is a very unique experience for a woman. Being able to bring a child into this world is a wonderful ability that, unfortunately, some women may never even know. Because of the fact that the process is rather long and drawn out, most women will be unable to notice the first few pregnancy symptoms and only realize that they are pregnant a little later down the line. For example, even though there are a number of physical, emotional and hormonal changes taking place almost immediately after conception, most women are only going to be able to tell that they are pregnant when they have missed a period – more likely to be a few days or weeks later. Women who are tuned in to their body’s rhythmic patterns, however, will be aware of the sudden change in a number of their bodies usual patterns almost immediately after conception. It is important that an expecting mother make sure she keeps herself healthy prior to and during the pregnancy; while a good healthy diet with a lot of nutrition is the main focus.

During the second week of the pregnancy, the uterus is building a new layer of endometrium in order to provide a cushion for the forming baby. Simultaneously, the ovaries are growing and ripening an egg for ovulation. This will also spark a rise in the estrogen levels that, accompanied by the ongoing ovulation, makes the individual very receptive to others. It is of no consequence then, that most women find themselves to be at their most creative during the first week of their pregnancy.  There are a number of pregnancy symptoms that will hint towards the mother being pregnant. A few examples of the pregnancy symptoms include increased fatigue, tenderness of the breasts, suffering from a disturbed sleep, a metallic taste in the mouth or even an increased body temperature that remains heightened after ovulation. In most cases, the primary and foremost pregnancy symptom is the cessation of a period. It is at this point, when a woman has realized that the monthly cycle has been skipped that she is usually prompted to take a home pregnancy test to find out for herself if she is pregnant or not. Although there are substantial chances of a false reading on the home pregnancy kits, the mother should take about 2 or 3 to make sure.
