Fetus growing stages between conception and the 10th week
Around three or four days, after a ripe egg gets fertilized, it moves down to the uterus, after passing through the fallopian tubes. It could take up to one month, for the implantation process to be complete, where the egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus. During the fourth week of pregnancy, the egg gets transformed into an embryo, which splits into two halves. One part continues to grow, as the baby, whereas the second part forms the placenta. Then, between the 6th and the 9th week of pregnancy, the heart gets formed within the embryo, along with other vital organs like the eyes. It is during this time that the embryo forms its own blood too. As the embryo enters the 10th week, it becomes a fetus. Read more on fetal development week by week
Fetus growing stages between the 10th and 18th week

Fetus growing stages between the 19th and 25th week
The development of the brain is rather rapid between this time period. The baby will also begin to develop habits that may persist after birth, like sucking the thumb or playing with toes.

By this time, the eyes will be completely functional and the baby will be able to open them and blink. Babies who are born during this phase of pregnancy have a 50% chance of survival, but only with the proper healthcare measures.
Fetus growing stages between the 30th and 40th week
These are the final few weeks of pregnancy and hence the baby’s bones will be fully formed by this time. The main development during this phase is that the baby will gain weight rapidly and will try to breathe independently. Children who are born after the 36th week of pregnancy are generally regarded as full term babies.
In case of any complications with the different fetus growing levels, it is absolutely essential to consult a doctor and seek options to proceed.
