Pregnancy Symptoms Before Missed Period

Being able to identify pregnancy symptoms as soon as the process starts within the body is one of the best ways to allow yourself more time to get used to the significant changes that are going to take place in your life. Although a pregnancy is one of the most beautiful natural occurrences, the 40 odd weeks that the entire term takes can be rather grueling while your body adapts, on an almost regular basis, to the physical, emotional as well as hormonal changes taking place within. It is normal to be rather anxious about the changes that a baby is going to make to your life and lifestyle. Probably the very first indication that most mothers have that they are pregnant is the missed period. Only when they realize that their period has been skipped are they triggered into action and take a home pregnancy test for confirmation of pregnancy. However, some women who are very tuned in to their body’s rhythmic patterns are able to tell at a much earlier stage that they are pregnant. This is primarily because of the fact that a number of changes take place in the body straight after conception. Read more on pregnancy symptoms before missed period

One of the most widely known pregnancy symptoms is certain food cravings. While most expectant mothers will suddenly have pangs of food cravings, this is not necessarily a symptom of pregnancy on its own – but could also be indicative of the body requiring certain other nutrients. An expectant mother may also notice a few other pregnancy symptoms during the initial stages such as the darkening of the aereolas and certain tenderness to the breasts. Again, on its own, it could simply be indicative of nothing more than hormonal imbalances within the body. As a result, it is very important to look for a number of pregnancy symptoms in order to classify the occurrence correctly as a pregnancy. Some of the other very common pregnancy symptoms include fatigue and a rather frequent requirement to urinate. Most pregnant women will also experience a certain metallic taste in her mouth during a pregnancy, again associated with the constantly changing hormonal balance of her body. Another very common initial pregnancy symptom that develops before you realize that you have missed a period is suffering from a rather disturbed sleep. As a result, you are increasingly likely to be very irritable during this phase primarily due to a lack of rest.
