Skipping a period is one of the most common signs indicating that a woman is pregnant. However, this is known much later and there are a number of signs that a woman can get almost two weeks prior to that or even before that which could mean that she is pregnant. If you observe slight red or pinkish stains, it is an early pregnancy sign and is the result of implantation bleeding that is when the egg that has been fertilized goes through the lining of the uterus that contains a lot of blood. Breasts that are tender and swollen is a sign of pregnancy before you have missed a period. Fatigue is another symptom wherein a woman feels extremely tired and sleepy which is due to the changes in hormones that take place.

If your body temperature is high and continues to remain high even after two weeks without any illness, it is an indication that you are probably pregnant. Also, the changes in hormones may cause a woman to go to the toilet very often which is another sign of pregnancy. An increase in the supply of blood and other fluids are also responsible for the symptom of frequent urination. Nausea and vomiting are two of the most common and early signs of pregnancy that are experienced by majority of women. Some women may also feel dizzy and think they are going to faint. A woman may also feel heartburn which is again due to changes in hormones that take place in the body. Cramps are yet another sign of pregnancy that maybe felt in the lower abdomen. Constipation can also indicate that you have conceived and this is the result of changes in hormones. You might also feel your stomach has bloated up as your clothes are not fitting you or getting tighter on your waist. However, be sure to do a pregnancy home test after observing all these symptoms to confirm that you’re pregnant.
