Quality time spent with a child will also help in strengthening the bond between parent and child thus reducing the chances of unacceptable attention-seeking behavior triggered by insecurities. Similarly, when a child is not used to being around people other than the immediate family, the presence of an outsider may seem like an intrusion to the child thus making him or her uncomfortable. In such cases, taking your child out more often will give him a chance to interact with others thus boosting confidence levels and improving social skills and behavior.
